It has merely been 10 DAYS in Madison yet i have learnt so much things in here. Things that i would never have done or experienced in Singapore. I must really thanks my parents for giving me such precious opportunity.

Went to the gym yesterday. I want to have six packs by the time i return to S'pore for my vacation.

There are many great restaurants in State street. Like yesterday, i went to eat chicken wings with my friend. It is barberqued to perfection with honey. The taste is just unbelievable. Things got really bad when i was eating. There were bees everywhere!!! Shit!!!! Cafes and shops are also found along the street. Ate Laos food with koko Alex at that street too. Guess what i eat?? Babi kecap with rice. Unbelievable rite!!! U can actually find this kind of food in America.

Today is the day mama and papa leave me all alone in Madison.
As the bus made its way out of the bus stop, my head began to fill with all sorts of questions. Will i be able to cope without my dearest parents? I guess i have to try to be independent. I am eighteen for godsake.

After the send-off, i walked back to my apartment and got ready for orientation. It's really confusing here. The bus that goes to my school on weekdays is different from the one that goes during weekends. To avoid this mix-up, i decided to walk to school again.

Orientation is totally boring. I almost fell asleep at the hall. It sucks. I should not have attented it. I went home like 1630. Upon reaching home, i made myself a sandwich with ham and turkey. It's pretty good. After that, i went to school again with my friends to play pool and table tennis. I also discovered an alternative route to go to my school.

I think today is the right time to update my blog. Really sorry guys!!! I knew it had been dead for a while. Anyway, i had just finished my international student orientation like yesterday. There is another one to look forward to this Sunday. School will officialy start on 30 Aug. It had been really fun. i have made friends with 2 indonesians. I'm really thristhy to make more friends.

Played pool and table tennis at my new school. Food is really boring here. Hamburger, pizza, hot dog, steak. Those are the kinds of food i eat everyday. It sucks. Really miss ami's gado-gado, soto and many more. If only madison is beside singapore, that would be great. Trying Chinese food is not advisable here. Why? U know the reason. JUST don't do it.

Been eating a lot of food ever since i stepped foot on this island. You really can't compare Hong Kong and Singapore. Most of the stuff sold here are a novelty to me. The clothes look fabs. If you want to go shopping, Hong Kong is just one country you don't want to miss.

Two more days and USA here i come...

Just another day to go before i go to USA. Am i supposed to be happy or sad? Strangely i don't feel anything at all. How could this be? I am really going to miss my little brother and two sisters though. I am so going to feel lonely there. Lastly, I will also miss all my friends and especially Singapore.

Had a wonderful day today. Played tennis with my sister for 1 and 1/2 hour. Really fun!!!

After losing so much weight for the past six months, it seems that no one is able to recognise me anymore. This is true because i haven't lost just 2 kg but as a matter of fact it is a whopping 24 kg.

I went to Parkway Parade today. GUESS what?? My old buddy couldn't even recognise me. This is real bad. It's like i had undergone a total makeover. This is probably my last time visiting PP this year.

Just 3 more days and i will leave Singapore for USA. Time really flies....

Happy Belated Birthday Singapore!!! A land of hope and dreams. I will never forget her. I have always regarded her as my second home. I really missed the days when i have to sing National Anthemn at school assembly.
